We are currently looking to recruit a Consultant Business Development Manager to support the growth of our Consultant practices and to drive revenue across The London Clinic. This is a highly influential role, working closely with senior Consultants, marketing, and the Executive Board to accelerate activity, strengthen key relationships, and ensure sustainable performance across the consultant portfolio. Through a targeted account and relationship management approach, your contribution will be instrumental to the achievement of the hospital's strategy.

Key Duties
- Achieve defined revenue and activity targets.
- Account manage a specified list of consultants, in line with The London Clinic's strategy and as per guidance from the Head of Business Development/Associate Director/COO.
- Develop and maintain key consultant, practice staff and other stakeholder relationships to encourage increased share of consultant private practice.
- Evaluate, analyse and interpret consultant data to identify consultant activity and trends.
- Develop and target consultant account plans to facilitate accelerated practice growth.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve barriers to practice growth.
- Acquire and report competitor intelligence.
- Organise and undertake a regular schedule of face-to-face meetings with a targeted list of consultants and update activity through account plans, the CRM and any other required systems.
- Provide support to and proactively work with commercial, marketing, operational and clinical colleagues in growing the hospital's consultant and service portfolio.
- Proactively work with commercial and marketing colleagues to raise the profile of the hospital, its consultants and services amongst targeted networks, referring communities and the general public.
- Work with colleagues to plan and organise consultant forums, operational/specialty meetings and events in line with guidance from the Head of Business Development/Associate Director/COO.
- Proactively foster strong relationships and collaborative working with internal colleagues.
- Work closely with key stakeholders throughout and outside of The London Clinic, in order to best support consultant team and service development.
- Undertake regular performance reviews with the Head of Business Development.
Strategic Reporting & Analysis
- Undertake speciality reviews and identify any gaps. Present findings and make recommendations, in order to maintain revenue and generate new revenue streams.
- Continually research developments in the healthcare market and regarding competitors identify emerging opportunities and threats.
- Manage and report on all relevant budgets.
- Prepare and present monthly reports on activity and revenue, identifying trends, business opportunities and obstacles to new business growth.
Skills And Experience
- Healthcare industry background - essential.
- Strong relationship building capability.
- Strong account management background within a competitive market.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), including listening, negotiation and facilitation.
- Exceptional planning, organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident in presenting to others.
- Ability to engage and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders of all roles and seniorities.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, being able to manipulate and analyse data from a variety of sources.
- IT literacy.
- Proven business development experience, particularly in developing and growing accounts over time.
- Demonstrated success in working in a commercial, targeted environment and consistently achieving personal revenue/activity targets.
- Planning, executing and leading events.
- Naturally results driven.
- High levels of determination and initiative.
