We are recruiting an Events & Social Manager to lead the event culture, guest experience, and digital presence of a fast-growing hospitality and entertainment venue. This is a highly visible, hands-on role combining live event hosting and guest engagement (approx. 70%) with short-form social media content creation (approx. 30%). The successful candidate will be confident running weekly events, energising guests on site, and producing TikTok and Instagram content that drives footfall and brand growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Events & Guest Engagement
- Plan, promote and host weekly themed events
- Build and manage RSVP lists, actively driving attendance
- Host evenings with confidence, energy, and a welcoming presence
- Collaborate with influencers and micro-creators to extend reach
- Understand guest behaviour and manage guest flow during peak hours
- Build strong relationships with regulars and local communities
- Support private and corporate events (commission available)
- Create and publish 1–2 TikTok/Reels per day
- Capture live venue content including guest reactions, atmosphere, gameplay, cocktails and food
- Post daily Instagram Stories and maintain highlights
- Track trends and create content optimised for reach and engagement
- Write captions, hashtags, and manage posting schedules
- Collaborate with a videographer to plan higher-production shoots
- Respond promptly to all Instagram and TikTok DMs
- Engage with comments and community messages
- Reply to Google Reviews and support rating growth
- Assist with inbound event and booking enquiries
- Build anticipation and FOMO around events and nightlife experiences
- Drive consistent growth across TikTok and Instagram channels
- Contribute ideas for viral content and campaigns
- Help shape and evolve the brand's tone of voice and personality
Requirements
- Essential: 2–3 years' experience in hospitality (bars, restaurants, nightlife or entertainment venues)
- Proven experience running or coordinating events
- Strong TikTok and Instagram Reels content creation skills
- Ability to film and edit short-form video (CapCut or similar tools)
- Confident, charismatic, and comfortable hosting on camera
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations (guest flow, atmosphere, service pace)
- Willingness to work evenings during event nights
