Temporary Customer Service Assistant - Bristol (BS2) - Β£12.60 per hour

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly Customer Service Assistant/Receptionist to join a vibrant student accommodation community in the heart of Bristol city centre. This is a temporary role for a minimum of 3-4 weeks, starting immediately. As the first point of contact for residents, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and keeping the building running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to enquiries from current and prospective residents across social media, email, phone and face-to-face.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and parcels.
  • Build positive relationships with residents through regular interaction.
  • Conduct property viewings for potential residents.
  • Take and process payments; monitor and follow up on rent arrears where required.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and filing systems.
  • Work closely with the maintenance and accommodation teams to log and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support with organising events, open days and community activities.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Background in student accommodation, property, travel or hospitality is a plus.
  • Warm, approachable and people-focused.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
  • Comfortable working at pace and handling multiple tasks.
