We are looking for an experienced and reliable Painter/Decorator to join the team at this busy student accommodation. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing rooms for residents to move into, including preparing surfaces, applying paints and finishes, and delivering a high standard of work across a variety of residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, priming, and cleaning
  • Apply paint, varnishes, and finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork
  • Carry out minor repair work prior to painting
  • Ensure a neat, tidy, and safe working environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Complete work to high quality standards and within agreed timelines
