Medical Laboratory Assistants, Watford, WD18 40 hours a week between hours of 8am-8pm, £13.15ph Laboratory based on site at a large hospital requires diligent and efficient Medical Laboratory Assistants to provide general support to the busy Sample Reception. Duties will include: Receipt, identify and prepare all samples and request forms Handle large volume of incoming samples Identify and prepare – maintaining accurate log via the specimen tracker system Assisting with incoming department queries via phone, email, face to face in a timely and professional manner Other duties assigned by the department The successful candidate must have had proven work experience within a UK pathology laboratory, ideally a Biomedical Graduate. Experience of working on Winpath would be an advantageous. You will also need to be flexible, highly motivated, an effective team player, methodical and have excellent communication skills.
