Location: Nottingham, United Kingdom

Job Schedule: Immediate Start, 9:00 – 17:00 Monday-Friday

Job Description:

Leading property development company is seeking an efficient temporary Handyman to assist with daily reactive repairs and maintenance at a student accommodation site.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing reactive maintenance tasks, including plumbing, joinery, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
• Moving furniture and heavy items within the premises.
• Maintaining lighting and conducting statutory testing.
• Responding appropriately to health and safety issues.
• Managing electronic maintenance reports and updating records.
• Maintaining stock levels and informing management when supplies need replenishing.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in repairs and maintenance within a residential environment or general construction, such as plumbing, electrical work, or carpentry.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Awareness of health and safety regulations.
• Positive attitude, initiative, and professionalism.
• Friendly and helpful demeanor.
