We are looking for a reliable and efficient Painter/Decorator to help the team at this busy student accommodation. 6 weeks working 2-3 days a week. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing rooms for residents to move into, including preparing surfaces, applying paints and finishes, and delivering a high standard of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, priming, and cleaning
- Apply paint, varnishes, and finishes to walls, ceilings, woodwork
- Carry out minor repair work prior to painting
- Ensure a neat, tidy, and safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Complete work to high quality standards and within agreed timelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting and decorating
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality finishing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and reliability
