Locum Temporary Phlebotomists required for local Hospital in Harlow, Essex. £14.50ph, full time for a minimum of 1 month, could be extended.
Locum cover due to increase of workload within outpatients. You will mainly be responsible for the collection of venous and capillary blood samples. Maintain accurate records, label samples, and ensure patient identification.
Support the departmental objectives by ensuring allocated duties are completed and recorded in line with departmental policies. Provide care for patients who may be anxious or become unwell during procedures.
Candidates MUST have proven Phlebotomy work experience within the UK. You will also need to have a mature outlook as you will have to deal with delicate issues, be upbeat and friendly with a polished and professional approach.
