We are looking for a proactive multi skilled Maintenance Operative to assist the team of a busy student accommodation. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering an outstanding living experience by ensuring all maintenance and repair requests within the accommodation are handled efficiently and effectively.
/n
You'll be responsible for carrying out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance, ensuring the estate remains safe, compliant, and well-presented at all times.
/n
Duties:
/n
/n
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests via internal systems
/n
- Carry out general repairs, including plumbing, decorating, joinery
/n
- Support both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
/n
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and communal areas
/n
- Identify and address maintenance issues and health & safety risks
/n
- Support record-keeping for maintenance logs, inspections, and compliance
/n
- Deliver a professional and approachable service to residents
/n
- Communicate clearly and effectively across teams and with residents
/n
/n
Requirements:
/n
/n
- Proven Maintenance/Handyman/multi skilled labourer / trade experience
/n
- Strong practical skills across general maintenance disciplines
/n
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively
/n
- A reliable and self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their work
/n
/n
