A leading Build to Rent property company is seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Operative to join its on-site team at a high-quality residential scheme in North Acton. Salary: £30,000 - £35,000. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys delivering a first-class living experience for residents.

The Role

As Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for providing efficient, responsive, and preventative maintenance services across the property. You will play a key role in ensuring the building is safe, well maintained, and compliant with all relevant health and safety standards, while delivering excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out day-to-day reactive and planned maintenance tasks
  • Conduct regular building inspections and health safety checks
  • Complete fire alarm testing, emergency lighting checks, water hygiene monitoring and related compliance tasks
  • Liaise with and monitor contractors to ensure work is completed to a high standard
  • Log, track and manage maintenance issues accurately
  • Maintain statutory records including gas safety, PAT testing, fixed wiring and other compliance documentation
  • Interact professionally and courteously with residents, recognising the property as their home
