I am recruiting for a Payroll Administrator for my client who are a growing business in Wembley
The role is office based Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm
Salary is up to £33000 dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the processing of high-volume fortnight payrolls
- Tracking, processing and amending holiday pay, Statutory Sickness Pay and other forms of leave such as maternity/paternity pay, etc.
- Checking and validating information provided by the sites and ensuring all necessary documents are received on time and are in line with HMRC payroll guidelines.
- Checking and validating new starter documentation
- Ensuring all leaver documentation are received and made leavers in Iris Payroll.
- Maintaining and tracking Right to Work documents.
- Monitor the payroll mailbox and ensuring all queries are dealt with within a 24 hour SLA.
- Attending to telephone payroll queries.
Essential requirements are:
- 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume retail/catering environment.
- Preferably have experience in Iris Payroll.
- Passionate about a career in Payroll.
- Resilient and Adaptable.
- Pro-active attitude to work.
- Good Excel skills.
- Strong numeracy skills with good analytical mind.
- Self-starter with good organisational skills being able to multitask, plan, prioritises and meets tight deadlines.
- Ability to build strong business and human relationship at all levels and be a team player.
- Good in communicating at all levels.
