I am recruiting for an engineering coordinator for a small, well established company.
Job Description for this role:
- To coordinate a team of engineers, by planning and scheduling works accordingly as per requirements.
- To prioritise urgent and important jobs to ensure these are completed within given timelines.
- To purchase materials for jobs as well as organise and book in any access.
- To validate each job to ensure all relevant information has been added (i.e. locations, access codes, contact details for residents, etc.).
- To liaise with engineers on day-to-day jobs.
- To provide updates and/or recommendations to clients.
- To update clients' and internal database/portals (daily task).
- To follow up on any outstanding works with clients.
- Liaise with the team regarding any admin duties.
Salary depending on experience: £26,000 - £28,000 PA
Working Hours: 8:30am – 5pm
Essential skills:
- Good customer service skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge or experience within the reactive repair industry.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a team but also use own initiative without continuous supervision (once trained).
- Good geography skills.
- Working well under time restraints and customer demands.
Nice to have:
- Able to order parts from suppliers.
- Ability to write small quotes, if and when required.
