We are super excited to announce that we are now looking for a Retail Operations Specialist to join our Retail Operations Team in our London Head Office. As a member of the Local Retail Operations team, the Commercial Operations Specialist plays an important role in supporting the growth of Rituals Cosmetics in the UK and Ireland by being the local lead of commercial plans for Regular and Outlet stores whilst overseeing the areas of Supply, Logistics, and Inventory Management.
The Specialist will collaborate with the Retail lead on commercial plans and aid in ensuring effective, first-time right communication from the local and central head offices teams to the frontline on commercial topics and work collaboratively with Stock Planners and Logistics Coordinators to ensure the correct inventory is fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner for the estate. They will apply their analytical skills to review and report on Commercial and Operational KPIs and utilise their findings and influence to ensure their areas of responsibilities operate at a high level. Through their drive to bring about growth, they will constantly seek process improvements and work with local and central colleagues to bring about positive change.
Key Accountabilities:
- Receives, reviews and collaborates with local stakeholders to prepare commercial briefings for Regular and Outlet stores
- Prepares the communication of commercial briefings for LHO, Field and Frontline teams and oversees its execution
- Tracks and reports on the performance of Commercial focuses and makes recommendations for business improvement
- Works with local and central stakeholders to prepare robust Summer and Winter Sale plans
- Takes the lead in reviewing product forecasts and consults local stakeholders to ensure plan meets anticipated sales
- Analyses and works with Stock Planner (Central Head Office) to ensure optimal regular and promotional product availability for Regular and Outlet stores and reduces the possibility of out of stocks and is the local lead for Field and Frontline teams on replenishment topics
- Takes the lead in supporting Frontline teams with Capacity Management and aids Retail team in the planning and execution of Interstore transfers where necessary
- Works collaboratively with Logistics Coordinator (Central Head Office) to manage the performance of 3PL and is the local lead for Field and Frontline teams on logistical topics
- Works to ensure a high level of knowledge and understanding on all Replenishment and Logistical topics and provides training where necessary
- Works with OpEx to track and ensure Inventory Management processes are followed as per Global Ways of Working
- Collaborates with Store Opening Coordinator on Supply and Logistics actions for new store openings
Your Experience:
- Experience leading or collaborating on Supply and Logistics
- Experience in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of Commercial Plans
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Extremely driven, a self-starter and team player with attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
- Flexible with priorities and comfortable in a fast pace, agile environment
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills both externally and at all levels in the company, both written and verbal
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in excel
- Structured and process driven
