This role is a paid internship based in our London Head Office.
The Retail Operations Intern will aid the Local Retail Operations team in ensuring the efficient running of Rituals Cosmetics stores in the UK and Ireland.
The intern will be responsible for a number of dedicated administrative areas alongside providing the Operations team with support on ongoing project and ad hoc work which develops and optimises the processes, tools and services for our Frontline colleagues to excel on the Shopfloor.
The role requires someone who is passionate about Retail, Operations and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where they can learn on the job daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Retail Inbox, resulting in the management and coordination of communication from Retail stores to Retail Operations
- Work alongside our Retail Operations specialists to collate and prepare effective copy to be shared via internal communications platform
- Liaise with departments in Local Head office to prepare Weekly Newsletter template
- Liaise with Head of Retail to review and rework monthly Commercial Briefing
- Responsible for executing or coordinating basic Operations tasks set by Central Head Office
- Track and escalate Expense and Invoicing queries
- Liaise with Shop Materials and Central Retail Operations to escalate when stores have issues with materials
- Provide first line of support and tracking for Shop Logistics
- Preparation and collation of Feedback Forms for Retail Operations
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and booking delivery
- Support the Local Operations team with any ad hoc or administrative project tasks
Qualifications
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to provide exceptional service to key stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with retail point-of-sale systems.
