Contract Duration: 3 months (FTC)

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our HR Operations team on a short-term basis to support the high-volume hiring of Christmas Helpers across our Retail Stores.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering a seamless onboarding experience for our new seasonal hires during our busiest time of year.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Process incoming hires initiated by Store Managers in Workday, ensuring all checks are completed accurately and efficiently.

  • Prepare and issue employment contracts for new Christmas Helpers.

  • Manage high-volume HR administration tasks within agreed SLAs including, right-to-work checks via TrustID and reference checks.

  • Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and ensure new starters are set up correctly.

  • Manage your own workload effectively.

  • Collaborate with the wider HR Operations team to ensure a smooth and timely onboarding process.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous HR administrative experience, ideally in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of Workday or a similar HRIS (minimum 2 years).

  • Comfortable working at pace and managing high volumes of data and documentation.

  • Excellent attention to detail, written communication, and organisational skills.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office (One Drive) & DocuSign.

  • A team player with a sense of empathy, and a strong work ethic.
