Business Impact

This role provides essential operational support to stores and contributes to the smooth execution of retail processes, systems, communications, and projects. The Retail Operations Specialist helps ensure operational excellence, supports implementation of new tools and ways of working, and has a direct influence on store efficiency, compliance, service quality, and the overall quality of retail operations through accurate execution, timely delivery, and proactive issue management.

Interaction

  • Reports to the Retail Operations Team Lead
  • Part of the Retail Operations team
  • Supports Store Teams with operational topics and day-to-day retail processes
  • Collaborates regularly with the Head of Retail, Regional Managers, and Area Managers
  • Works closely with Global Head Office during projects, pilots, and new system implementations
  • Liaises with system super users and owners of the different platforms and tools for which this role acts as local super user
  • Supports communication and coordination between stores and CHO

  • Checks and corrects problems that are not immediately evident in existing systems or processes
  • Questions existing ways of working to ensure the most appropriate and effective solution is being used
  • Renews and optimizes operational processes through practical and innovative improvements
  • Anticipates risks proactively and takes initiative without waiting to be asked
  • Applies strong common sense and ownership in resolving issues from start to finish

Result Areas

  • Supports the execution and follow-up of key Retail Operations activities across all stores
  • Owns and coordinates Retail Newsletter and Store Communication processes
  • Acts as super user for communication, scheduling, stock management, and cash management tools
  • Responds to and follows up on store requests and operational queries through ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution or escalation where needed
  • Supports new system launches, pilots, and store training initiatives
  • Manages and supports operational projects from planning through execution
  • Prepares reports and supports the monitoring and management of relevant retail KPIs
  • Develops effective relationships with stores, internal stakeholders, and global partners to offer exceptional service and influence change
  • Supports continuous improvement of retail systems, processes, and tools

Education Level
