Responsibilities

  • Supporting the development, implementation, and embedding of global and local risk and fraud policies and procedures across the UK & Ireland.
  • Conducting risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, improvement opportunities and advise on store‑specific controls.
  • Monitoring and analysing store performance data and incident reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Supporting or leading investigations into theft, fraud, and breaches of internal risk/compliance procedures, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Developing and delivering training for Retail teams on loss prevention techniques, risk & compliance policies, and conflict management principles.
  • Overseeing the effectiveness of security measures and systems, including CCTV, alarms, radios, and other store security equipment.
  • Collaborating with landlords, security personnel, external prevention services, and local law enforcement to deter theft and support safety.
  • Producing regular reporting on loss prevention activities, insights, and follow‑up actions, and sharing key learnings with local leadership and Central Head Office (Rituals Amsterdam Headquarters) Risk & Fraud.
  • Ensuring alignment with the Head of Risk & Fraud and the wider specialist community.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to optimise processes and interpret risk insights.
  • Excellent influencing, stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Sound judgement and decision‑making capabilities.
  • A proactive, action‑oriented problem‑solving style.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships.
  • Adaptability to evolving business or market needs.
  • Experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or similar roles, ideally within Retail.
  • Confidence using security technology and strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to stores across the UK & Ireland.
