We are looking for a Pastry Specialist to join our team at Ritter Courivaud Ltd. This individual will have a passion for Fine Food notably around the Pastry element and above all a thorough knowledge of the Fine Dining Sector in the UK.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Develop the range to ensure we remain the primary supplier to high-end kitchens across the UK.
- Overall responsibility for the P&L of the Pastry category.
- Grow the Pastry category sales and P/L working closely with the Sales Team.
- Engage with customers on product demonstrations and liaise with suppliers regarding new product development.
- Conduct product demonstrations both internal and external.
- Develop commercial proposals for the Pastry Category.
- Provide training to the Ritter Courivaud Ltd Sales team advising on seasonality, availability and quality.
- Act as an ambassador for Fine Food within the wider business.
- Identify growth areas for the Pastry offering within the Hotel and restaurant sector.
- Participate in and organise regular tastings of current and new products.
- Broaden the offering within the category by new product development.
- Responsible for global sourcing; travel may be required.
- Strong commercial acumen developed in a food service environment.
