Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Team Leader to join our Production team. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in supporting our high-performing manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the team to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
- Ensure materials, components, and information are available and correctly processed throughout the shift.
- Maintain strong shop floor presence, promoting safety, quality, and adherence to company standards.
- Coordinate shift handovers and communicate effectively with other Team Leaders and departments.
- Monitor performance, resolve issues, and escalate when needed to achieve daily targets.
- Oversee equipment checks, housekeeping standards, and support continuous improvement activities.
- Update records, audits, and systems (including SAP) accurately and on time.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential Qualifications
- Supervisory Management Level 2 (or similar).
- Experience of people management.
- Experience in problem solving and supporting continuous improvement activities.
- Health & Safety training for Managers and Supervisors.
- Training in key leadership and people-management topics.
- Recognising the Value of Your Team.
Desirable Qualifications
- Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 3 or equivalent.
- Mechanical Engineering knowledge.
- Lean Manufacturing / Quality Systems training.
- Experience using SAP or similar systems.
