Salary: Starting rate of £13.21 per hour. 2nd shift uplift 25%, 3rd shift uplift 33%
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Shift Patterns:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 07:00–15:00
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 15:00–23:00
- 3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 23:00–07:00
Responsibilities:
- Operate counterbalance and/or reach trucks safely in line with company procedures and Health & Safety standards.
- Load, unload and move pallets, stillages and materials between vehicles, racking and production areas.
- Deliver materials to machine centres and transport goods across storage locations.
- Safely store and retrieve stock from racking using reach truck equipment.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to support stores and production teams.
- Record all stock movements using scanners and systems.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid, in‑date FLT Licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck)
- Previous FLT experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Refresher training (desirable but not essential)
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy and teamwork
- Experience in sheet metal or similar production environments
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
- IOSH or higher‑level management qualification
