The Opportunity: With summer just around the corner, we’re expanding our crew to keep up with the busy season ahead. As an on-call Tour and Charter Driver, you’ll play an important role in connecting people, places, and experiences, both within your local community and across Aotearoa’s vibrant tourism industry. If you hold a minimum Class 2 licence, have excellent communication skills, and take pride in providing safe, friendly, and memorable journeys, we’d love to have you on board!

Team Ritchies: Ritchies is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading passenger transport companies with a team of more than 2,000 people providing coach and charter services right across the country. We partner with regional councils and schools to supply public transport services as well as offering a range of bus and coach hire services to businesses and the general public. You would be joining us at an exciting time in Ritchies’ history as we gear up to decarbonise our fleet and move to a more sustainable public transport model.

You are prepared to work weekends and to travel or stay away from home depending on tour durations. Your Skills:

  • Great communicator and capable of delivering commentary
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 20kgs
  • NZ Class 2 license (minimum)
  • P endorsement
  • Can operate manual transmission
