Role Description
This full‑time, on‑site Apprentice Electrical & Mechanical Craftsman/woman role is based in the City of Edinburgh.
The apprentice will support qualified craftspeople in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, such as heat pumps, PV, heating systems, rewires, etc.
Including assisting with routine inspections and testing.
Day‑to‑day activities include learning to read technical drawings, using basic tools and equipment, following safety procedures, and helping to diagnose and resolve faults.
The role also involves maintaining accurate work records, keeping work areas organised, and attending required training and coursework to build skills and progress toward qualification.

- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and following instructions in line with health and safety regulations.
- Good problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
