We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Auction Coordinator to support the planning, preparation, and execution of our heavy equipment auctions in Maltby, UK. This role is essential in ensuring that all auction-related information is accurate, complete, and ready for sale day. You will work closely with the Yard Manager to support both customers and colleagues throughout the auction process. Responsibilities

  • Manage auction sequencing and catalogue proofing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect and verify equipment information, including market-conform pricing.
  • Work closely with Equipment Inspectors to evaluate equipment.
  • Review all equipment inspections for accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve equipment contract issues and DEI-related discrepancies, including those arising during the auction period.
  • Support the Yard Manager with pre-sale, sale-day, and post-sale administrative tasks and customer service needs.
  • Serve as the central communication point for multiple departments (office, yard, sales, operations) involved in auction and DEI processes.
  • Promote and maintain a strong health and safety culture for employees and customers.
  • Prepare advertising materials—such as social media content—in collaboration with the Marketing department for upcoming auctions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Yard Manager.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Solid knowledge of agricultural and construction equipment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, especially during auction periods.
  • Proficiency with data entry and digital tools; experience with equipment photography or inspections is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of heavy equipment or auction operations is beneficial.
