About the role
We’re looking for a CRM Consultant with a strong focus on Dynamics 365 Project Operations to join our Microsoft Business Applications team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, practical solutions for our customers. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to design and implement Project Operations solutions that support real-world project delivery, resourcing, time & expense, and financial management. You’ll collaborate with delivery teams, functional consultants, and technical specialists to ensure solutions are aligned to how projects are actually run, not just how the system looks on paper. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on consultancy work, leading workshops, solving delivery challenges, and seeing solutions through from discovery to live use.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead the functional design and configuration of Dynamics 365 Project Operations solutions
- Run discovery sessions and workshops to understand customer project delivery models, financials, and operational requirements
- Translate business requirements into clear functional designs and system configurations
- Configure entities, processes, business rules, and flows across Dynamics 365 CE and Project Operations
- Work closely with developers and Power Platform specialists to support integrations, automations, and extensions where required
- Support the full delivery lifecycle, including design, build, testing, UAT, go‑live, and post‑implementation support
- Advise customers on best practice use of Project Operations, balancing standard functionality with pragmatic configuration
- Support data migration, reporting, and process adoption activities
- Contribute to internal standards, delivery approaches, and capability development across CRM and Project Operations
- Stay aligned with Microsoft’s roadmap and evolving Project Operations capabilities
What will you bring?
- Strong experience working with Dynamics 365 Project Operations (or PSA with clear Project Ops exposure)
- Solid understanding of project delivery, resourcing, time & expense, billing, and project financials
- Proven experience gathering requirements and delivering CRM solutions in customer‑facing environments
- Confidence running workshops and working directly with stakeholders at varying levels
- Experience configuring Dynamics 365 CE modules, processes, and security models
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and understand when customisation or Power Platform is required
- Experience delivering projects using agile and/or waterfall methodologies
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a pragmatic, delivery‑first mindset
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to have:
- Power Platform experience (Power Automate, Power Apps)
- Exposure to wider Dynamics 365 CE modules
- Experience working in consultancy or project‑based delivery environments
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, particularly CRM or Project Operations
What can we offer you?
- Hybrid Working
- Private Medical Insurance or Company Paid Health Cash Plan
- Employee Assistance Program
- 25 days holidays plus your birthday off
- Option to purchase additional holiday (up to 5 days)
- Company Pension Scheme
- Life Assurance x 4
- A diverse workforce
- Employee investment with Node4 training Academy
- Family savings and shopping discounts through the Node4 benefits portal.
- Discounted Gym Membership
- Modern facilities with open and welcoming breakout areas
- Company Social events
- Never ending supply of hot and cold drinks, biscuits, sweets, and fruit
