A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Resourcer/Talent Acquisition Adviser to join our team of contract and perm desks within a leading Midlands Engineering recruitment consultancy. We are looking for highly motivated and confident people to come in and add to what is already a successful business.

Working within the Engineering industry, we focus on sales, marketing and clinical positions across the UK, predominantly specialising in the Aerospace sector. We are now looking for dynamic and driven individuals to join the team as Resourcers/Talent Acquisition members. In this role, you would be working alongside the existing team of resource assistants, helping the team to work towards agreed targets through:

  • Sourcing candidates (through job boards, networking, head hunting, LinkedIn/Social media etc)
  • Interviewing potential candidates over the phone and face to face (or via Skype)
  • Submitting CVs to decision makers
  • Prepping candidates for interview
  • Writing job ads
  • Updating and maintaining CRM systems
  • Dealing with candidate inquiries and requests

The successful candidates will be joining a successful team with big plans for the future. We are looking for the right people and essentially characters, to help these plans be realised and be an integral part of the team. This is very much a personality-led role and we are looking for candidates with the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Highly organised
  • Very tenacious and resilient
  • Determined
  • Strong research skills
  • Personable
  • Desire to succeed and progress
  • Ability to balance a heavy/diverse workload
  • Interest in and ability to understand the Engineering industry
  • Ambitious
  • Time management
  • Ability to work to deadlines and hit targets

We are ideally looking for candidates who have some experience as a Resourcer (this does not have to have been within the Engineering industry) and who have a real desire to develop a career within recruitment. We would consider candidates who do not have previous recruitment/resourcing experience, but who have a University degree, the right personality and mentality, and a real desire to begin a career in recruitment. Equally, we would consider someone who has worked in Engineering themselves and is now looking to go into recruitment.

You would be joining a small team of personable and highly motivated individuals in Central Derby, and we offer a competitive package and excellent working environment with all necessary training provided.
