Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Engineer\\nConventional Power, Clean Energy and Oil, Gas & Chemical Industries\\nOverview\\nJob type: Full time\\n Location: TUV Rheinland Derby (UK)\\n Salary or rate: Competitive Salary, Annual bonus, Private medical healthcare, Pension (5% company contribution 3% employee contribution), Annual salary review plus benefits\\n Expected duration: Permanent \\n Approximate start date: As Available\\n \\nJob Description\\nTUV Rheinland UK is seeking experienced NDT Engineers (permanent role) with specific pressure systems knowledge to take up positions in its expanding Asset Integrity Management team based in Derby, UK.  The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering solutions for our clients.  Most of the team’s activities are focussed on the Conventional Power and Clean Energy sectors (primarily CCGT, Biomass and Energy from Waste plants).  \\n \\nRequired Qualifications:\\n\\nAs a minimum you must hold PCN Level 2D certification in magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing and ultrasonic testing of welds.\\nThe following would be a particular advantage:\\nCertification to PCN Level 2 in phased array ultrasonic testing and / or TOFD.\\nCertification to PCN Level 3 in any testing method.\\nProject management experience.\\nNEBOSH General Certificate.Experience:\\nYou should have:\\n\\nGood practical experience in the inspection of a range of plant components, in particular steam and water pressure parts (both in the new / as-installed condition and after in-service degradation has taken place).\\nAn appreciation of the damage / degradation mechanisms that can take place on the components being inspected.It would also be an advantage to have:\\n\\nExperience in the ultrasonic testing of branch connections.\\nExperience of working on plant outages, including a proven track record in a coordinating / supervisory role for outage inspection activities, including liaison with the client and other key stakeholders. \\nDuties and responsibilities will include:\\n\\nSite visits to carry out plant inspections.\\nCoordinating / supervising inspection activities e.g. on outages (depending on qualifications and experience).\\nProducing high quality inspection reports.\\nReviewing and authorising inspection reports (depending on qualifications and experience).\\nEstimating and managing project costs.\\nMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of standards, legislation, good practice, methods and use of appropriate equipment and software.\\nThe role will involve travel, both within the UK and abroad, to meet project requirements. \\nRewards:\\nA competitive package of salary and benefits is offered for permanent staff, including annual performance bonus, private medical insurance, and contributions into a pension scheme.  Flexible home-working arrangements, with a minimum of three days in the office per week. \\n \\nTo apply for a position, please send your CV with a covering letter
