As part of the TUV family, Risktec Resourcing have been tasked to assist our sister company TUV Rheinland Industrial Services (TRIS) to source an Inspection Engineer to cover the Southern Region (UK).
Job Summary
Inspection of pressurised static equipment e.g. vessels, tanks, piping, relief devices, to meet regulatory and client requirements.
Job Description
The Inspector reports to the Local Head of department / Team Leader / Inspection Engineer for a team of Inspection staff. For large shutdowns, the inspector is required to coordinate their work with other inspectors. For repairs and fitness for service, the inspector coordinates with the CAT 2 Inspection Engineer and functional engineers to define the optimum solution.
Education
Trained/qualified in a relevant engineering discipline. Engineering Technician status desirable. 5 years of experience working within a relevant engineering discipline e.g. mechanical technician.

- Mechanical Engineering background.
- Experience in the Chemical and/or Oil & Gas sectors.
- Understanding of engineering principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
