About Us Risktec Solutions Ltd is an established, independent engineering and risk management consultancy. We help clients to manage health, safety, security, environmental (HSSE) and business risk in sectors where the impact of loss is high. Our people are high calibre and motivated professionals, with a clear focus on meeting clients expectations.

We are seeking Integrity / Plant Engineers (permanent role) with specific pressure systems knowledge to take up a position in its expanding Asset Integrity Management team based in our brand new facility in Derby, UK. The successful candidates will play a key role in leading and delivering solutions for our clients. The majority of the teams activities are focussed on the Conventional Power and Clean Energy sectors (primarily CCGT, Biomass and Energy from Waste plants).

Requirements:

  • The candidates must have some experience in all, or most, of the following:
  • Integrity assessment of defective power plant components low and high temperature (e.g. reverse code calculation, fracture mechanics, finite element analysis).
  • Legislative compliance e.g. the UK PSSR.
  • Power plant inspection (e.g. steam and water pressure parts, boiler tube surveys, support surveys), with an understanding of materials selection, damage/degradation mechanisms and life assessment.
