Further information is available at \nWe are seeking an experienced Metallurgist (permanent role) to take up a senior position in its expanding Asset Integrity Management team based in our new Laboratory in Derby, UK. n \nMost of the team's activities are focussed on the Conventional Power and Clean Energy sectors (primarily CCGT, Biomass and Energy from Waste plants).\n \n \n Leading and delivering metallurgical failure examinations (includes laboratory work and formal reporting). This may include site visits to carry out investigations and inspections. \n Producing formal technical reports and other project deliverables on time and to budget. \n Managing larger, project-based investigations. \n The role may periodically involve short periods of travel, both within the UK and abroad, to meet project requirements. \n \n \n Ferrous metallurgy, failure analysis and root cause investigation - experience in high temperature degradation mechanisms, including creep, and corrosion in biomass / energy from waste boilers would be a particular advantage. \n Worked within a power plant background.
