The Principal Engineer role for TÜV Rheinland Solutions requires that all activities are undertaken to a high standard, meeting the delivery requirements for projects and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. To be responsible for the wining, management and delivery of your own projects, reporting both financially and technically to the Team Leader To be responsible for delivering a broad portfolio of rolling stock related consultancy projects to a high standard, with a primarily UK focus, developing and maintaining client relationships and managing projects of varying size. Developing proposals and undertaking account management activities to enhance client relationships and secure further work. Supporting the team through high quality technical checking and approval. Managing projects, controlling budgets, quality and timeliness of deliverables. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. ~10–15 years of experience in the rail industry. ~ Extensive experience in rolling stock engineering, including consultancy services. ~ Strong problem-solving ability, excellent technical communication skills, sound commercial awareness, and a high level of professionalism and integrity .
