Extensive experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native solutions on AWS using Terraform, Docker, and serverless technologies, with a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and Dev Ops best practices.
Skilled in database design, SQL optimisation, application integration, API development, and troubleshooting across the full technology stack.
Experienced implementing automated unit, integration, and API testing while applying Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to deliver reliable, maintainable software.
Strong knowledge of application security, authentication, and authorisation standards including OAuth 2.0 and Open ID Connect (OIDC), ensuring solutions meet security, compliance, and data protection requirements.
A collaborative technical lead who remains hands-on with development while mentoring team members, supporting production environments, and working closely with product owners, delivery managers, architects, and business stakeholders.
Proven ability to translate user stories into high-quality technical solutions, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver within fast-paced Agile programmes.
SC Cleared/SC Eligible with proven experience delivering secure digital services aligned to UK public sector standards, governance, and best practice.
