Seeking an established Senior Identity Architect with proven experience leading enterprise IAM architecture across complex, live, regulated environments. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, providing architectural direction across identity lifecycle management, access governance, workflows, APIs, microservices, data flows, integrations, platform configuration, and operational supportability.
Candidates must be comfortable working at both strategic and technical levels, guiding engineering, DevOps, data, service operations, and supplier teams while remaining credible in detailed design discussions involving identity schemas, provisioning logic, directory services, ETL, APIs, and integration patterns.
Strong experience with enterprise IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Microsoft Entra, Okta, ForgeRock, NetIQ/OpenText, or CyberArk is highly desirable, together with knowledge of Azure AD, LDAP, cloud-hosted services, and modern API-led integration.
The successful candidate will simplify complex identity platforms, reduce unnecessary customisation and technical debt, improve resilience and supportability, and drive pragmatic architectural decisions that balance business value with operational stability.
Experience supporting live services, incident resolution, service transition, BAU readiness, and secure-by-design principles within government, public sector, or similarly regulated environments is essential. Active SC Clearance is mandatory, along with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence both senior leadership and technical delivery teams.
