The Opportunity
Riskonnect, Inc. is seeking candidates for the position of RFP Specialist. The RFP Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). They will act as a project manager as well as proposal writer to prepare response drafts to match prospect and client requirements and adhere to internal guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
RFP Specialist is responsible for overseeing the development of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). They will act as a project manager as well as proposal writer to prepare response drafts to match prospect and client requirements and adhere to internal guidelines.
- Responsible for creating accurate, well-written and properly formatted RFP responses.
- Work with various colleagues and subject matter experts to obtain information needed to respond to RFPs.
- Coordinates RFP associated activities such as item assignments, calendar reminders, response strategy meetings, executive signatures as appropriate and as needed follow ups/follow through.
- Ensures final response package is appropriately formatted and submitted to customer on time.
- Develops and updates RFP content for future use.
- Maintain associated data in the CRM.
Requirements
- Problem solving, time/task management
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility with RFP projects and other duties as assigned
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with MicroSoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Skilled in managing priorities and working under pressure
- Desire to work for an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, growing company
- Strong technical skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or other CRM.
- Experience with proposal automation and content management tools (e.g., Loopio).
