The HR Director, EMEA is responsible for leading the full spectrum of Human Resources across the EMEA region, providing both leadership and operational oversight. This role partners closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational objectives while ensuring effective delivery of core HR services including recruitment, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and facilities.

  • Regional HR Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute the EMEA HR strategy aligned with global HR priorities and business objectives. Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies across EMEA. Partner with global HR Business Partners and leadership on cross-regional programs and integration efforts.
  • HR Operations & Service Delivery: Oversee day-to-day HR operations across EMEA, ensuring efficient and scalable processes. Ensure consistent delivery of core HR services (onboarding, offboarding, HRIS, compliance). Maintain high standards of data integrity, reporting, and HR analytics.
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Lead regional recruitment strategy in partnership with Talent Acquisition teams. Ensure effective hiring plans to meet business growth targets across EMEA. Drive employer branding and candidate experience initiatives.
  • Payroll, Benefits & Compensation: Oversee payroll operations across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. Lead benefits strategy and administration, including vendor management and program optimization. Partner with global HR leadership on compensation planning, salary benchmarking, and incentive programs. Ensure compliance with country-specific employment and tax regulations.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters across multiple countries. Ensure compliance with all regional employment laws and regulatory requirements. Develop and maintain HR policies and frameworks aligned with best practice and legislation. Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
  • Facilities & Workplace Experience: Oversee facilities management and workplace operations across EMEA offices. Partner with Finance and Operations on space planning and cost management. Support hybrid/remote workforce strategies. Lead and develop a geographically distributed HR team across EMEA. Build capability across HR disciplines (HRBP, TA, payroll, operations). Foster collaboration with global HR teams. Drive a high-performance, service-oriented HR function.
  • Ad-hoc HR related projects: Progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in a multi-country EMEA environment. Deep knowledge of employment law across key EMEA jurisdictions. Proven experience leading HR operations, payroll, benefits, and talent acquisition. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Experienced in managing/leading a team, driving engagement, accountability and professional growth. Experience in scaling HR infrastructure in a growing, international organization. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, effective time management skills. A pragmatic and commercial approach to HR, who can work with the business needs and help them grow. HR professional who enjoys working in a matrixed organisation structure in a fast-growing dynamic business. Bachelor’s degree required; SaaS/Technology company experience.
