Risk Ledger is developing a network of connected organisations, all working together to defend against cybersecurity attacks in the supply chain. Organisations rely on us to establish trust, through sharing their security maturity and visualising the risks posed by their supply chain ecosystem. We are trusted by customers like ASOS, British Airways, BAE Systems and the NHS.

We are putting together an amazing and talented team from a diverse set of backgrounds and skillsets to drive us towards our vision. Risk Ledger is built on the respect we have for one another and our users, united by our shared values and mission. Every one of us is still learning: it’s how we grow as individuals. We’re curious, ambitious, humble and honest. At Risk Ledger, we aim high to find the best solutions we can and always put our users first.

This role involves joining a tight-knit team of SDRs with a specific focus. Our sales strategy requires a high-performing individual to work closely with the BD Lead, focusing on both our core ICP communities and experimental markets. You will engage with established verticals in our key sectors while exploring innovative markets and new opportunities.

Primarily focusing on the UK, you’ll be instrumental in driving short, medium, and long-term revenue growth for the business. Success in this role will open up a range of exciting opportunities for you and your future at Risk Ledger.

In the role you will:

  • Be responsible for supporting the team on delivering pipeline in our core community account lists, where we have strong traction already, while also driving our growth strategy in test regions: sourcing, qualifying and nurturing prospects at the top of the sales funnel through cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn.
  • Have the autonomy to build and execute on campaign plans for these verticals, with the support of the BD Lead and the marketing team.
  • Consistently track and provide feedback on the success of these regions, ready to pivot if needed or expand on areas of success identified.
  • Conduct full discovery calls to qualify opportunities for the Account Executives.
  • Attend events to meet with prospective clients to generate opportunities for the business.
  • Track information in our CRM for you, the Account Executives and the Marketing department’s benefit.

You’ll have:

  • A minimum of 1 year working in an SDR / BDR position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate Risk Ledger’s value proposition to key stakeholders and effectively report campaign feedback back to the team.
  • Experience and comfort with cold calling/emailing to grow your sales pipeline.
  • A highly proactive self-starter mindset, target driven and thrive off a competitive environment with the autonomy to test out your own campaigns in new regions.
  • A love for problem solving; thinking laterally to find innovative ways of generating interest from prospects.
  • A positive attitude and ability to listen to feedback to drive your own performance.
  • Resilience; viewing challenges as opportunities to grow.
  • Cybersecurity or SaaS experience (Cybersec preferred) - desirable.

The perks include:

  • Generous EMI equity package.
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
  • Additional 30 days of unpaid leave per year to use as you wish.
  • Ad-hoc companywide time off.
  • Private healthcare with AXA Insurance - including enhanced mental wellbeing coverage.
  • Hybrid working policy, typically 2-3 days in the office.
  • Enhanced family (parental) leave - gender-neutral policy, 12 weeks paid leave.
  • 5 days Caretaker’s leave.
  • Enhanced occupational sick pay.
  • All the learning resources and books you want to aid in your personal development.
  • Regular socials to unwind and have some fun.
