This role involves joining a tight-knit team of SDRs with a specific focus: Our sales strategy requires a high-performing individual to work closely with the BD Lead, focusing on both our core ICP communities and experimental markets. This role will involve a balanced approach, where you’ll engage with established verticals in our key sectors while also exploring innovative markets and new opportunities.

In the role you will:

  • Be responsible for supporting the team on delivering pipeline in our core community account lists, where we have strong traction already, while also driving our growth strategy in test regions: sourcing, qualifying, and nurturing prospects at the top of the sales funnel through several channels including cold calling, emailing, and LinkedIn.
  • Have the autonomy to build and execute on campaign plans for these verticals, with the support of the BD Lead and the marketing team.
  • Consistently track and provide feedback on the success of these regions, ready to pivot if needed or expand on areas of success identified.
  • Conduct full discovery calls to qualify opportunities for the Account Executives.
  • Attend events to meet with prospective clients to generate opportunities for the business.
  • Track information in our CRM for you, the Account Executives, and the Marketing department’s benefit.

You’ll have:

  • A minimum of 9 months working in an SDR / BDR position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulately communicate Risk Ledger’s value proposition to key stakeholders and effectively report campaign feedback back to the team.
  • Experience and comfort with cold calling/emailing to grow your sales pipeline.
  • A highly proactive self-starter mindset, target-driven, thriving in a competitive environment with the autonomy to test out your own campaigns in new regions.
  • A love for problem-solving; thinking laterally to find innovative ways of generating interest from prospects.
  • A positive attitude and ability to listen to feedback to drive your own performance.
  • Resilience; viewing challenges as opportunities to grow.
  • Cybersecurity or SaaS experience (Cybersec preferred) - desirable.
