Our client, a well-established and growing food manufacturing business based in North Lanarkshire, is looking to recruit a highly organised and proactive Planning / Office Administrator to join their team.
This is a varied role that combines supply chain, logistics and production planning support with front‑of‑house and office administration responsibilities. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and takes pride in delivering exceptional support across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate claims relating to stock shortages and discrepancies.
- Coordinate stock movements between site and third‑party logistics providers, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Manage communication regarding customer stock delays between sites.
- Liaise with delivery providers and transport partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Work closely with the despatch team to monitor order status and ensure orders are prepared for outload.
- Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Provide support and cover for Production Planning activities when required.
- Conduct monthly stock takes and report on stock variances.
- Assist with a range of ad hoc logistics and planning activities as required.
About You
- Has previous experience in administration, logistics, planning, supply chain or customer service.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Can confidently manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Has strong communication skills and enjoys building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Is proactive, adaptable and willing to support different areas of the business.
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing or operational environment.
