Looking for your next challenge in engineering? We’re working with a busy manufacturing business in Dundee, who are looking to add a Design Engineer to their engineering department. This is a great opportunity for someone with a mechanical design background who enjoys getting into the detail, solving problems and seeing their designs come to life in a manufacturing environment. What will you be doing? Creating, reviewing and approving technical drawings and specifications. Developing design tools and supporting engineering projects. Using CAD software to produce 2D drawings and 3D models. Applying engineering principles and manufacturing knowledge to design solutions. Supporting continuous improvement and sharing your knowledge with junior engineers. What are we looking for? A qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline (degree, HNC, HND or ONC with relevant experience). Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor and ANSYS. Knowledge of ISO 9000 design standards and quality systems. An understanding of engineering design principles, manufacturing processes and regulated environments. What's on offer?
