Position: Nursery Practitioner / Room Leader
Hours: 40 hours per week (option to condense 40 hours over 4 days)
Opening Hours: 7.30 am to 6.30 pm

Our setting is especially close to our hearts – a truly unique nursery nestled in the heart of the community and close to the Liberty shopping centre & Romford train station. What we are looking for: We are seeking a special individual who along with a full and relevant level 3 early years qualification, can bring fun, laughter, warmth, and a genuine passion for early years education to our children, families and team.
You will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering a rich, engaging EYFS curriculum tailored to each child
- Creating inspiring indoor and outdoor spaces that promote exploration and independence
- Building strong bonds as a key person, supporting children’s development and working closely with families
- Supporting calm, inclusive routines like mealtimes and transitions
- Making meaningful observations and assessments
- Contributing to reflective team meetings and ongoing quality improvement
- Engaging in continuous professional development and keeping up with best practice

Person Specification (Essential Criteria):
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience of working in an early years setting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Reliable, organised, and flexible with a positive and proactive attitude.
