Role: SEN Teaching Assistant providing dedicated one-to-one support for a Year 6 pupil with Autism, ADHD and additional behavioural needs. This is a time-sensitive opportunity for a confident and experienced practitioner to work with consistency, resilience and a calm approach. The school is looking to meet candidates immediately.
Responsibilities
- Provide consistent one-to-one support throughout the school day for the Year 6 pupil.
- Support behaviour regulation with a calm and structured approach.
- Adapt learning activities to meet the pupil’s individual needs.
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals.
- Create a safe, supportive learning environment where the pupil can engage and progress.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience supporting pupils with Autism and ADHD.
- Confidence in managing behaviour and setting clear boundaries.
- Experience supporting children with additional learning needs, including intellectual disabilities.
- A resilient, patient and proactive mindset.
- A genuine passion for SEND and making a lasting impact.
