Rising Hope Education are delighted to be working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Stepney Green, Tower Hamlets, who are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their SEND team.

They are now looking for someone with experience supporting children with complex needs including Autism, who can bring empathy, commitment and calm professionalism to their wonderful team.
The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working closely with pupils across the school who have additional learning and social needs. Your role will be to help them engage with their learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills.
Personal care, including toileting and intermittent support, is shared amongst the team. This is a school that values teamwork, understanding and dignity in every aspect of care.
You will be:

Supporting children with Autism and complex needs within a primary classroom

Assisting with communication and sensory strategies

Working closely with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised support

Providing care and encouragement that helps children flourish emotionally and academically
