Full-Time | Immediate Start (22nd June) | £100 - £115 per day PAYE. Rising Hope Education is seeking a compassionate, skilled and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil on a full-time 1:1 basis at a welcoming primary school in Barking. This position will begin on 22nd June, continue for the remainder of the current academic year and then continue full-time throughout the entire 2026/27 academic year. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in a child's educational journey by becoming a consistent, trusted adult and supporting them to access learning, develop communication skills, and thrive within the school environment.
About the Pupil
The pupil is a 7-year-old boy in Year 3 with diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD. He presents with significant needs in:
- Communication and language development
- Attention and engagement
- Social interaction
- Emotional regulation
- Safety awareness
He demonstrates strengths in memory, early literacy and numeracy, and responds particularly well to interest-led learning and positive relationships. The successful candidate will provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day, helping him remain regulated, safe, engaged, and able to access learning opportunities.
