Rising Ballers Group is the home of football culture. Our digital media platform reaches tens of millions monthly, and we have a responsibility to entertain and educate. We partner with leading blue chip brands that share our long-term vision, helping them tap into Gen Z while creating lasting moments through memorable content and popular events.

We are looking for a Paid Media Manager with a focus on Paid Social Media to join our team. This is a hybrid role for someone who lives and breathes social, understands paid media strategy, and knows the football content space inside out. You will lead and support in the planning, activation, and optimisation of paid and organic social campaigns across multiple platforms.

Beyond campaign execution, you will work closely with our social and creative teams to help plan and develop content ideas. You will understand what drives engagement, reach, video views, traffic, and conversions across different platforms, and help shape creative concepts accordingly. You will own the end-to-end paid media process:

  • Identifying audiences, markets, and targeting strategies
  • Building media plans and budgets
  • Activating campaigns
  • Monitoring performance
  • Delivering actionable insights and recommendations

This is a hands-on role with real ownership, offering the opportunity to influence both content strategy and paid media performance across a growing portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the planning, activation, and optimisation of paid social campaigns across client accounts, including amplification of branded content on owned channels and paid-first campaign activity.
  • Develop paid media strategies, audience targeting, budget allocations, and KPI frameworks to deliver against campaign objectives.
  • Execute campaigns across Meta, TikTok, and other relevant platforms, continuously monitoring performance and making data-led optimisation decisions.
  • Manage campaign budgets and reporting, providing clear insights and recommendations to maximise performance and inform future activity.
  • Work closely with creative and social teams to develop content ideas and campaign concepts specifically designed for paid media performance.
  • Support the social media team with the day-to-day activation of content across Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms, including scheduling, publishing, and community management where required.
  • Write social copy and captions tailored to platform audiences, brand tone of voice, and campaign objectives.
  • Support content planning and social calendar management, ensuring content is delivered effectively and on schedule.
  • Stay up to date with platform developments, audience behaviours, and best practices across paid social and social media.

Your required experience:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in paid social/social media, ideally agency-side or in-house for a sports, media, or entertainment brand.
  • Proven, hands-on track record setting up and optimising paid boosting/amplification on Meta and TikTok against clear objectives.
  • A football social media background - understanding the content, culture, creators, and what makes the football audience engage.
  • Experience building and managing budgets and using audience, geo, and demographic targeting to reach the right people.
  • Experience contributing to content - ideation, planning, and supporting production for social-first channels.
  • Strong understanding of the wider social and digital ecosystem and how paid and organic work together.
  • Experience working with footballers, athletes, or talent is not essential but desired.

Your required skills:

  • Results driven and analytical - comfortable living in the numbers and turning data into decisions.
  • Highly proficient & organised, with excellent attention to detail across multiple live boosts at once.
  • A strong sense of accountability and ownership; taking pride in your work.
  • Hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, and YouTube Ads.
  • Internet savvy & deeply proficient across social platforms and branded content.
  • A love for football and cultural awareness of the latest trends within (from brands, athletes, clubs).
  • Creative instinct - able to spot, shape, and pitch content ideas, not just buy media against them.
  • Great communicator – in person, on calls, via email.
  • Naturally thrive in a fast-paced environment and think outside the box.
  • Highly ambitious and entrepreneurial.

Reporting line:

This role reports into our Social/Content lead, working closely with the wider delivery and paid teams.

Our benefits:

  • Competitive salary with pension scheme.
  • Central London office.
  • Free Nandos Thursdays + weekly office fruits/snacks.
  • Additional perks like Cycle to Work scheme.
  • Unparalleled access & opportunity in the football industry.
  • Rapidly growing company with long-term role progression.
