The Role
You will be involved in the day-to-day management and enhancement of the organisation’s data platform estate, supporting operational performance while contributing to longer-term platform improvements and modernisation initiatives. Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Supporting cloud-based data infrastructure and services
- Managing platform uptime, resilience, and performance
- Troubleshooting incidents and identifying root causes
- Contributing to automation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives
- Supporting platform monitoring, alerting, and optimisation
- Working closely with internal technology teams and external partners
- Assisting with platform governance, scalability, and operational best practice
Required Experience
- Background in Data Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or similar technical roles
- Experience supporting cloud-based platforms within enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and SQL Server technologies
- Experience managing incidents, changes, and operational support activities
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
- Comfortable working within fast-paced and technically complex environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
