Risepoint assists primarily regional universities in increasing their access and impact by making their academic programs available to students online. Founded in 2007, Risepoint's mission is to expand access to high-quality, affordable, and workforce-relevant education, especially for working and adult students. Risepoint brings dedicated focus to student success, an integrated set of services, and data-driven performance to our collaboration with university partners.
The Partnership Director is responsible for managing and growing relationships with our Partners in the UK & EMEA. This role will serve as the primary strategic and operational partner for our Partners, developing growth strategies to drive revenue and impact, and building trust. Internally, the role involves collaborating and aligning resources to meet service levels, key dates, and deadlines to deliver excellent outcomes for the Partners.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with university partners to foster mutually beneficial and growing partnerships.
- Develop and own strategic partnership plans for growth, based on a deep understanding of the Partnerβs needs and goals.
- Build a 3-year plan with the university that aligns with the partnership's direction.
- Cultivate relationships with university leaders, executives, and stakeholders to strengthen partnerships, expand reach, and identify areas to increase revenue share and mutual growth.
- Monitor and analyze partnership performance, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Use metrics and data to guide decision-making for improved outcomes and student experiences.
- Stay informed about industry trends, client challenges, needs, and competitor activities to identify new partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and delivery of partner expectations.
- Communicate updates, risks, and challenges across teams and leadership.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and contracts, including new program launches.
- Identify operational improvement areas using structured and creative thinking to enhance performance and lead peers in implementing changes if needed.
Additional Position Responsibilities
- Perform in accordance with Risepoint Policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel is required β at least once per quarter to partner locations, with additional travel for new and prospective partner discussions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in partnership management, business development, or related roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with effective project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Understanding of higher education and student recruitment processes.
