The Manager, Student Engagement, is a key member of the Risepoint UK team. The Manager will manage a team of Student Engagement Assistants/Coordinators who work with students from around EMEA needing guidance to make the right decisions about postgraduate study – ultimately improving people’s lives and helping them reach their full potential. In this role, you will report to the Director, Student Engagement, managing the team of Student Engagement Assistants/Coordinators and acting as the SME for the region’s University partners. You will work closely with relevant stakeholders at partner University institutions to identify opportunities for growth, with a focus on process optimization and improvement based on data driven insights.

Day In a Life:

  • Manage team of Student Engagement Assistants/Coordinators in meeting business revenue goals through the following activities:
    • Conduct weekly team meetings to track progress against our business goals
    • Create and share regular reports with broader teams to provide transparency on key performance metrics.
    • Identify areas for improvement and optimization in ways of working, across areas such as management of lead pipeline, student interactions (calls), campaign activity (e.g. webinar follow up).
    • Act as the SME for the relevant partner Universities and managed suite of programs.
  • Work closely with the marketing team on implementing recruitment webinars, including supporting SEC team members in presentation skills.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders at partner universities across admissions and the schools/faculties to share insights and identify areas of continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with enrolment teams in other markets to learn from and share best practices ensuring connectivity across Risepoint globally.
  • Support SEC’s, including 1-1s, input on goals and performance reviews, daily prioritisation and workflow.

Team management

  • 1-1s, team meetings, 1-1 coaching, performance management, etc.
  • Regular call quality analysis and support.

Data analysis/integrity and reporting

  • Weekly performance reports, detailed pipeline analysis.
  • End of cycle reviews to evaluate processes and identify areas for improvement.

Partner relationship development

  • Regular meetings with partner university admissions teams.
  • Identifying process improvements and refining SOP documentation to ensure conversion optimization.
  • Act as the SME for portfolio of managed courses.

Cross functional relationships

  • Working closely with Marketing, Academic Services and Student Support teams to ensure continuous feedback loop is maintained.

What You’ll Need for Success

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Education
    • An undergraduate degree in any discipline is preferred.
    • Candidates without a degree may be considered with relevant work experience in higher education, online program management (OPM), or edtech.
  • Experience
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales role or related field.
    • Demonstrated experience embedding technology solutions for process improvement or driving operational efficiencies.
    • At least 2 or more years of leadership experience in a people-leader role, including managing direct or indirect reports, coaching, training, developing team members, and overseeing performance against KPIs.
    • Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of shaping vision and driving organizational goals.
    • Proven ability to motivate teams, manage competing priorities, and foster cross-functional collaboration to achieve results.
    • Commercially minded, highly organized, and data-driven, with a focus on operational excellence.
    • Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
    • Maintains a student-centric mindset in all decision-making.
  • Travel
    • Occasional travel may be required.
