Job Description
We are looking to recruit a care assistant to work 14 to 21 hours per week to join a friendly and pro-active team in a residential care home. Further training opportunities provided. Candidate must be 100% reliable.
The role is on a 4 weekly rota basis and includes every other weekend working.
Job Purpose:
To provide physical, emotional and social support to residents within the home to encourage them to achieve maximum independence where possible. To ensure that the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with our policies and procedures to maintain our good CQC rating.
Care duties:
To support residents with various physical and emotional needs in accordance with person centred care plans.
Records and procedures:
To undertake all responsibilities according to the policies and procedures.
To respect confidentiality and dignity
To undertake all statutory training and all other training as required
Adhere to the protection of vulnerable adults
A level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care and experience of a similar role is desirable.
Shift Hours are Early Shift: 7.30am to 14.30pm & Late Shift:14.30pm to 21.30pm and you have to do a mixture of the two shifts over a 4 week rota.
Hourly rate is dependent on age.
