Overview

Rise10 Recruitment is partnering with a well-established UK manufacturer within the materials-handling and structural steel sector to recruit an experienced Fabricator / Coded Welder. This is a full-time, permanent role offering long-term stability, progression, and the opportunity to work on high-quality structural projects in a modern manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will have proven experience working to EN1090 standards and be confident welding mezzanine floors and structural components to execution class 2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG/MAG welding on structural steel components, mezzanine floors, cantilever racking, and other structural fabrications
  • Work in accordance with EN1090 execution class 2 standards and all associated quality and safety requirements
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, WPQRs and WPS documentation
  • Conduct visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) where required
  • Carry out weld repairs and modifications
  • Ensure correct material handling, preparation, and finishing of welded structures
  • Collaborate with design, fabrication, and production teams to meet deadlines
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as press brake, band saws, plasma cutters (automatic and handheld)
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment
