Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (typically finish at 3:30pm on Fridays; occasional out-of-hours work required depending on project demands)

They are now looking to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of bespoke pharmaceutical process equipment and systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects within highly regulated GMP environments.

You’ll play a key role in designing stainless steel process equipment and associated systems used within pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, ensuring designs meet strict regulatory, safety, and hygienic design standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed site surveys within regulated manufacturing environments
  • Establish equipment locations and determine suitable routes for pipework, cabling, and structural supports
  • Take accurate site measurements to support design development
  • Produce and update General Arrangement (GA) drawings
