They’re now looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team and play a key role across a wide range of exciting projects.
The Role
You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of electrical and control system design — from concept through to installation support — working alongside a highly skilled engineering team to deliver smart, reliable solutions for industrial applications. No two projects are quite the same, so if you enjoy technical variety, problem-solving, and seeing your designs come to life, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and developing electrical and control systems for industrial projects
- Producing and managing technical documentation including wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and parts lists
- Ensuring designs meet industry standards, HSE regulations, and ISO requirements
- Supporting manufacturing, installation, and commissioning teams with technical expertise
- Carrying out safety hardware validation using SISTEMA
- Collaborating with project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Visiting client sites when required to support installations and commissioning
What We’re Looking For
- HND or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
- Previous experience in electrical design within industrial environments
- Strong working knowledge of EPlan or AutoCAD
- Experience within industrial automation
- Understanding of electrical components, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret complex electrical drawings and schematics
- A practical problem-solver with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator who works well within a team
- Willingness to travel to customer sites when needed
